Most of Wivenhoe were employed in this yard
Old steam yacht in the dry dock in Forrestt;'s shipyard now the site of the Wivenhoe port housing Estate.Forrestt built several houses on Spion Cop ie.1-24 Manor Road to house their skilled staff they bought with them from London.
