Sir John Martin Harvey 1863-1944. He was the son of John Harvey ,shipbuilder at Wivenhoe, he was one of seven children ,3 of whom died in infancy the others were May, Charles and Goyder. and they lived at Quay house on Wivenhoe Quay. Sir John was an Edwardian actor manager.
