I have access to a letter, sent by G Giifford who supplied his address as POLARIS yacht, Wivenhoe. It was dated the 22/10/47 and within the content there was mention of someone called VINCE who was described as the Skipper of the yacht. The letter talked about a certain person going there to have a weekend out on the yacht. I couldnt find anything out about this yacht or the people who owned it.
