Wivenhoe Shipyard dry dock, the picture shows either the Calton or Carhampton . Calton M118 was built in 1953. Carhampton M119 built 1955. Wiston M1205 built, 1958. All were called Ton Class boats named after Villages which ended in......ton. All of these vessels were Minesweepers built at the Wivenhoe Yard. Outside the yard on the marshes they also built sections for the Mulberry Harbours used in WW11.
