Sprats galore!!

The North Sea Canning Company, started in the old Rosabelle stores along the quay near Guy Hardings boat company in 1932, it later moved along the quay near Bath st.and Quay st..
The sprats were split and then smoked for twenty minutes, and then packed in tins with vegetable oil, i think they were sold under the brand name of Fisher Girl Bristling.
Mr wasp owned two boats, the Essex Girl and the Fisher Girl, the Christine and the Laura Bruce were also local fishing boats.
